In February, the concert series Elite Concerts, organized by the Association of Estonian Professional Musicians, will continue with four concerts.
Tenor Mati Turi and pianist Martti Raide will give two concerts with a program consisting of songs by Franz Schubert, Richard Strauss and Gustav Mahler.
The concerts will take place on February 14 at 5 pm in Türi Culture House and on February 17 at 7 pm in Kadriorg Palace.
On February 14 at 6 pm in Sausti manor and Febraury 20 at 7 pm in Kadriorg Palace, ensemble Una Corda will perform. The members of the ensemble are Kristi Mühling (Estonian chromatic kannel), Liis Jürgens (harp) and Ene Nael (harpsichord). In addition to solo pieces and arrangements for the ensemble of different works, the program also includes one premier: Waves of Thoughts 3 by Märt-Matis Lill.
The program also offers works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Arvo Pärt, Liis Jürgens, Heino Eller, Cyrillus Kreek, Rein Rannap and Ester Mägi.
Ensemble Una Corda gave its first concert one year ago. The ensemble combines together instruments which produce sound by plucking the string but have different timbre.
