Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir will perform in London and Glasgow

In February, Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir will give three concerts in London and Glasgow. The first concert will take place on February 8 at London Cadogan Hall where music by Felix Mendelssohn, Jean Sibelius, Arvo Pärt and Cyrillus Kreek will be performed under the guidance of the Daniel Reuss.

Next two concerts will be held at Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum in Scotland within the Glasgow festival which pays attention to Arvo Pärt and John Tavener. On February 11, Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir conducted by Reuss will perform Arvo Pärt’s Kanon pokajanen. The concert on February 12 will also feature Scottish Ensemble and cellist Natalie Clein. The program consists of music by Arvo Pärt (Summa, Fratres, 7 Magnificat-Antiphonen and Magnificat) and John Tavener, including the world premiere of Tavener’s In the Highest. Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir will be conducted by Nicholas Jenkins who has lately cooperated with the choir on January 21 in Tartu, Estonia.
