On March 16 and 17, Mirjam Tally orchestral work Density (2010) will be premiered in Berwaldhallen. New work was commissioned by Swedish Radio from the last season while Tally was composer in residence at the radio. "Density will be performed by Sweddish Radio Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Dmitri Slobodeniouk. The new orchestral piece is focused on subject of density of material and intensity of tibres. Concert is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Ferenc Liszt, program includes also Liszt’s Totentanz and Sergei Rachmaninov’s symphonic poem The Rock.
Concert can be listened also on March 18 at 7.30 pm on Swedish Radio P2.
