On March 18, Tallinn Chamber Orchestra will give spring concert entitled Spring Sketches featuring music by English and Estonian composers. The concert will be held in the House of the Brotherhood of Blackheads in Tallinn at 7 pm and the program consists of Benjamin Britten’s Variations on a Theme of Frank Bridge, Op. 10 for string orchestra, Frank Bridge’s Suite for strings, Eduard Oja’s Silent Moods and Veljo Tormis’s Suite from the feature film Spring and also the premiere performance of the choral work's Spring Sketches new version for string orchestra.
Concert on March 18, will mark the new tendency of orchestra’s activity – the programs of the concerts will be chosen and prepared without conductor, decisions will be made only by the orchestra players’ artistic vision and the leader of the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, Harry Traksmann.
