IV Türi Spring Festival

Nature in music, music in nature, music and nature in and around us all.
Let us meet in June in Türi and together learn to see and hear all of this!

From May 7 to 9, music festival Türi Spring Festival will take place in Türi, well known as the Estonian Springtime Capital for the fourth time. The festival brings together classical music and nature. The principal theme of the spring festival is The Four Seasons. The concert programs will emphasize musical works which have been inspired by nature. During three days there will be presented works by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Antonio Vivaldi, Astor Piazzolla and others, performed by Tallinn Chamber Orchestra (conducted by harpsichordist Reinut Tepp), piano duo Jorma Toots-Ebe Müntel, Robert Jürjendal (guitar), Türi String Quartet and the Ensemble Tbilisi from Georgia.

Alongside the many concerts there will be guided walks to Hüpassaare and Home Museum of composer Mart Saar, photo exhibition, discussion evening with composer Helena Tulve who will speak about the four seasons in her oevre in the series Night University of the Estonian Public Broadcasting Eesti Raadio and other interesting events. The well-known Estonian TV-presenter and author of books on nature, Fred Jüssi, will act as guide for nature excursions as well as presenting concerts and readings.

Patron of the Festival is Fred Jüssi, artistic director and producer Iren Lill.
