On May 8, Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Toomas Vaviolv will give a concert at the Tallinn United Methodist Church at 5 pm. In addition to Estonian premieres of Nino Rota’s Bassoon Concerto (solist Mari Kalmet) and Emmanuel Séjourné’s Marimba Concerto, the program also consists of world premieres of works by composition students of academy: Evelin Seppar, Riho Esko Maimets, Maria Kõrvits and Jorge Rodriguez.
