Record company ARS Produktion has released new CD entitled Anno 1698, where ensemble “focus baroque” – Holger Faust-Peters (viola da gamba) and Iren Lill (harpsichord) – performs music by Godfrey Finger, Augusto Kühnel, Georg Muffat, Joan Schenk, Conrad Höffler and Dietrich Buxtehude.
Holger Faust-Peters and Iren Lill have played together since 2004. Duo’s repertoire mainly consists of music from the Baroque period but they have also performed pieces by contemporary composers.
Faust-Peters and Lill have performed numerous concerts all over Estonia and Germany. The critics have especially praised the duo’s delicate sound and richly nuanced dynamics.
