Song of Nature


 

This week, the 100th anniversary of nature conservation in Estonia will be celebrated in Saaremaa with concerts, a conference, workshops etc.

The first concert, entitled Song of Nature, will take place on August 12 at 6 pm at Community Centre of Kihelkonna in Saaremaa. Annika Lumi (soprano), Neeme Punder (flute), Aare Tammesalu (cello) and Lauri Väinmaa (piano) will perform music by Antonín Dvořák, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Camille Saint-Saëns, Nikolai Rimski-Korsakov, Claude Debussy and Estonian composers Heino Eller, Lepo Sumera, Eduard Oja, Tõnu Kõrvits, Eugen Kapp, Mart Saar, Urmas Sisask.

The concert is organized by the State Concert Agency Eesti Kontsert, Loona Manor, Community Centre of Kihelkonna and Mustjala Music Festival.
