6th Tallinn Chamber Music Festival

The 6th Tallinn Chamber Music Festival will take place from August 24 to 28. Five days of the festival include ten concerts in the Town Hall, St John’s and St Michael's Swedish Church.

The list of performers include Estonia’s top performers – Anna-Liisa Bezrodny (violin), Andreas Lend (cello), Henry-David Varema (cello), Lea Leiten (piano), Pille Lill (soprano), Mari Tampere (violin), Peeter Paemurru (cello), Piia Paemurru (piano), Kristina Kriit (violin), Sigrid Kuulmann-Martin (violin), Madis Kari (clarinet), Marko Martin (piano), Uus Tallinna Trio (New Tallinn Trio), string quartet Prezioso, Oksana Sinkova (flute), Age Juurikas (piano), Aare-Paul Lattik (organ), cello quartet C-Jam et al.

Violinist Valery Vorona (Russia) and pianist Peep Lassmann will perform at the opening concert of the festival which takes place today, August 24 at 6 pm in the Town Hall.

On August 28 festival’s chamber orchestra, conductor Jonathan Brett (UK) and mezzo-soprano Margareta Haverinen Brandt (Finland) will perform at the gala concert in St. John’s Church which will put an end to the festival.

The organizer of the festival is the PL EST Management in cooperation with Tallinn City Government, the Ministery of Culture and the Cultural Endowment of Estonia.

The festival’s artistic director is Pille Lill.
