World premiere of Erkki-Sven Tüür’s Synergie

On September 2, Erkki-Sven Tüür’s Synergie pour violin et violoncello will be premiered in France. Piece will be performed by world’s top musicians, brothers Renaud Capuçon (violin) and Gautier Capuçon (cello) in Chambéry Cathédrale.

Concert is part of Bel-Air chamber music festival (Rencontres de Musique de Chambre de Bel-Air) lasting from August 30 to September 4. New piece was commissioned by festival’s artistic director violinist Renaud Capuçon. Concert program also includes music by Antonio Vivaldi and Pēteris Vasks, as well as Arvo Pärt’s Tabula rasa, that will be performed by Renaud Capuçon (violin), Alina Ibragimova (violin), Frank Braley (piano) and Bel-Air Chamber Orchestra.
