focus baroque
This weekend, the German-Estonian baroque ensemble „focus baroque“ – Holger Faust-Peters (viola da gamba) and Iren Lill (harpsichord) – will give two concerts in Germany.
The program consists of pieces by François Couperin, Marin Marais, Joan Schenck, Paolo Pandolfo and Estonian composer Tõnu Kõrvits.
The concerts will take place on September 4 at Markuskirche, Cologne and September 5 at Ev. Versöhnungskirche, Buschhoven.
Holger Faust-Peters and Iren Lill have played together since 2004. Duo’s repertoire mainly consists of music from the Baroque period but they have also performed pieces by contemporary composers. In February 2010, “focus baroque” released CD Anno 1698 under the record company ARS Produktion.
