Helena Tulve’s „Where the Two Seas Meet?“ will be performed in Amsterdam

On September 11, Helena Tulve’s Where the Two Seas Meet? for big ensemble (2010) will be performed in Amsterdam within in the framework of the International Gaudeamus Music Week. The concert, featuring the Ensemble Insomina under the guidance of Ulrich Pöhl, will take place at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam at 3 pm. The program also consists of works by Roderik de Mani (the Netherlands), Marko Nikodijevici (Serbia/Germany) and Artur Akshelyani (Armenia).

The annual International Gaudeamus Music Week focuses on music by young composers and the major event of festival is the competition for young composers. This year, also Helena Tulve participates in the work of jury.
