Today, on September 23 at 7 pm Uppsala Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Paul Mägi will give their season opening concert entitled Pianopoesi och romantic. The program consists of Grażyna Bacewicz’s Uwertura, Frédéric Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1 and Johannes Brahms' Symphony No. 2. The soloist is Estonian pianist Ivari Ilja. The concert will take place at the Uppsala Konsert & Kongress.
Paul Mägi will also conduct Uppsala Chamber Orchestra in November. Then they will perform pieces written by Swedish composers Andreas Hallén, Franz Berwald and Anders Nilsson.
