On September 24, tenor Mati Turi will perform Marko in Einojuhani Rautavaara’s opera The Mine with Tampere Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Hannu Lintu. The concert-performance will be held at 7 pm at Tampere Hall.

The other roles will be sung by Johanna Rusanen-Kartano, Jorma Hynninen, Hannu Niemelä, Tuomas Katajala, Jaakko Kortekangas, Petri Pussila and the opera chorus.

Mati Turi’s latest appearance in Finland was in Georges Bizet’s opera Carmen in Kokkola in July. In future, the debut in Finnish National Opera will follow.
