Concerts of the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir in Tallinn, Mol and Amsterdam

 

On September 29 at 7 pm, Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir will give a concert entitled Songs at Tallinn St. Nicholas’s Church, the same program will be also performed at Amsterdam Concertgebouw in Holland on October 2 at 2.15 pm.

Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir under the baton of Daniel Reuss will sing Arvo Pärt’s „Magnificat“ and „Da pacem“, Erkki-Sven Tüür’s „Triglosson Trishagion“, Cyrillus Kreek’s Psalms of David and Toivo Tulev’s „Songs“ for soloists, mixed choir and instrumental ensemble (soloists Kädy Plaas (soprano), James Laing (counter tenor), Mati Turi (tenor)). The concert in Amsterdam will be broadcast live on the Dutch Radio and Dutch TV. Additionally, the Dutch TV will produce a documentary about Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir.

On October 1, Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir will participate in the Flanders Festival in Belgium. The concert will be held at Sint Pieter en Pauwel Church in Mol at 8 pm. The program consists of Arvo Pärt’s „Magnificat“ and „Da pacem“, Erkki-Sven Tüür’s „Triglosson Trishagion“, Cyrillus Kreek’s Psalms of David and religious folk songs, Galina Grigorjeva’s two parts from the „Nature Morte“ and Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy’s Three Psalms, Op. 78.
