Olari Elts in front of Orchestre de Bretagne in France

On September 28 at 8 pm, Orchestre de Bretagne’s five-part concert cycle dedicated to Joseph Haydn will begin in Opéra de Rennes. Two symphony concerts of the cycle will be conducted orchestra’s artistic adviser Olari Elts. Concert program today consists of Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto (soloist Clément Saunier) and Symphony No. 86 and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Dance Suite from Idomeneo. Orchestra’s second concert will take place on September 30 at 8 pm in Opéra de Rennes and October 2 in Théâtre Anne de Bretagne in Vannes where Haydn’s Symphony No. 104, Cello Concerto in C Major (soloist Yan Levionnois) and Johannes Brahms’s Variations on a Theme by Haydn will be performed.
