On June 30, the eve of 11th Youth Song and Dance Celebration the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, its artistic director Neeme Järvi, the Estonian National Male Choir and 13-year old pianist Tengu Ahmad Irfan from Malaysia will give a concert entitled World and Land at the Nokia Concert Hall.
Besides the works by Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Frédéric Chopin, the program consists of Villem Kapp’s Poem „North Coast“ (1958), Eugen Kapp’s Suite from the ballet „Kalevipoeg“ (1947) and Eduard Tubin’s „Suite on Estonian Dance Tunes“ (1943/1974).
