On October 3, Mirjam Tally’s Etude X (2010) for trumpet solo will be premiered by Marco Blaauw in Lübeck Kolosseum. This is matinée entitled 20 Jahre Deutsche Einheit of Neue Musik im Ostseeraum, that presents three world premieres more from composers like Tomi Räisänen (Finland), Magdalena Buchwald (Poland) and Robert Krampe (Germany). Works are commissioned by Hanseatic City of Lübeck. From amongst Tally’s music, also Arlequin (2000) will be performed by Jonathan Shapiro (percussion) and Eva Zöllner (accordion). In between performances, short conversations with composers will take place.
