On October 20 and 21, first performance of Mirjam Tally’s piano piece Steps will take place at the recital of Swedish pianist Peter Friis Johansson (b. 1983) in Stockholm Kammaren. Steps is the second of four commissions that attend with being composer in residence of Swedish Radio P2. At the same time also Peter Friis Johansson is the artist in residence selected by Swedish Radio. It is already Tally’s tenth premiere this year.

In next week, on October 30, Tally’s Call love to mind (2009) for mixed choir will be performed in Stockholm once again by Eric Ericson Chamber Choir. Conductor of Russian origin is Maria Goundorina (b. 1978) – conductor of Uppsala Allmänna Sången and finalist of The Eric Ericson Award in 2009. Concert will take place in the hall of Rikskontserter at Nybrokajen 11.
