Swedish new music ensemble, fresh owner of Swedish Grammi Award, has selected Mirjam Tally’s Shift 2 (2008/2009) in their repertoire and performs it at two concerts under the direction of Jan Risberg. On November 6, the concert takes place in Borusan Music House. On November 10, Sonanza gives a concert at the opening night of festival Sound of Stockholm in Stockholm Capitol.
Mirjam Tally: "Shift 2 was initially written in the framework of Luca Francesconi master class in 2008 in Norway and Italy, its first version was performed by Norwegian ensemble BIT 20. In Estonia, the chamber version has been performed by Ensemble U:. The main interest in this work was combining pitches and noise."
