On November 10, concert of Ensemble orchestral de Paris will take place in Paris Théâtre du Châtelet where under the baton of Olari Elts two Arvo Pärt’s pieces will be presented: Orient & Occident (2000) and Symphony No. 4 Los Angeles (2008). Concert is preceeded with the introduction of Pärt’s 4th symphony by English composer Peter Bannister. Additionally, Elts conducts the world premiere og Clarinet Concerto by Lebanese composer Bechara El Khouryi and excerpts from Jean Sibelius’s Kuolema. It is benefit concert in support of Mikhail Khodorkovsky.
