Ensemble Resonabilis with its unique combination of instruments has commissioned new pieces from four Estonian composers to the program rePRESSION II. New works for voice, flute, kannel and cello – Helena Tulve’s North Wind, South Wind (2010, text: Song of Songs and Mawlânâ Jalâluddîn Rûmî), Mirjam Tally’s Eye Pool (2010, text: Indrek Hirv), Tauno Aints’s 3film (2010, text: phonemes) and Andrus Kallastu’s Elegiac Trope (2010, abstract phonetic text) – will be premiered on November 27 at 7 pm in Old Town Music House, Tallinn and November 28 at 6 pm in Viljandi Traditional Music Center. Entrance is free.
