Voces Musicales invites to summer ending concert PAHH!

Chamber choir Voces Musicales, conducted by Risto Joost, gives two summer ending concerts: on August 29 at 7 pm in Kuusalu Culture House and on August 30 at 6 pm in Tallinn Song Festival Grounds Glass Hall. The program consists of music by Heinrich Schütz, Johann Sebastian Bach, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Gustav Mahler, Claude Debussy, Sven-David Sandström, Veljo Tormis, Arvo Pärt, Einojuhani Rautavaara and Joonas Kokkonen.

Chamber Choir Voces Musicales was founded in 1999 by Risto Joost who has remained the chief conductor of the choir till today. Choir has taken successfully part in several choral competitions and festivals (including France and Israel). Voces Musicales has appeared together with many outstanding musicians, ensembles (NYYD Ensemble, Hortus Musicus), orchestras (Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, Tallinn Youth Orchestra, Pärnu City Orchestra) and conductors (Neeme Järvi, Olari Elts, Arvo Volmer, Andres Mustonen, Jüri Alperten). The choir has also participated in the premieres of several new works by Estonian composers (Toivo Tulev, Timo Steiner, Ülo Krigul, Helena Tulve and others).
