Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir opens its new season

Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir with its chief conductor Daniel Reuss opens its 28th season with three a cappella sacral music concerts in Rakvere, Viimsi and Haapsalu. The program of the opening concerts consists of Psalms, Op. 78 by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Psalms of David by Cyrillus Kreek and „Da pacem“ by Arvo Pärt.

Concerts will pay homage to composer Pärt who will celebrate his 74th birthday on September 11.

The opening concerts will take place on September 11 at 7 pm at Rakvere Church of the Holy Trinity, September 12 at 6 pm at St. Jakob’s Church in Viimsi and September 13 at 6 pm at Haapsalu Dome Church.

The same program will be recorded on the CD, which will be released in November.
