Harpsichordist Iren Lill will perform in Germany

On September 20 at 4 pm, Iren Lill (harpsichord) will perform with Holger Faust-Peters (viola da gamba) at Stephanuskirche, Cologne. In addition to performing Baroque music, Iren Lill will play a solo harpsichord piece La Folia by Tõnu Kõrvits. The premiere of the piece took place in April at Sausti manor.

Iren Lill graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music in 1995 with Prof. Heljo Sepp. She continued her studies in the harpsichord class of Imbi Tarum (2000–2002). In 2002, she attended Cologne Hochschule für Musik where she studied harpsichord with Prof. Ketil Haugsand and basso continuo with Prof. Gerald Hambitzer. She graduated in 2004.
Iren Lill has taken part in several master courses in Estonia, Finland, Norway, France and Germany. In 2000, she received a diploma at the Bach competition in Tallinn, organized by the Estonian Academy of Music. Iren Lill has given lectures and performed as a soloist and as a member of chamber ensembles and orchestras in Estonia, Finland, Norway and Germany. She has also organized concerts in Estonia and Germany. At the present time, Iren Lill works as a producer of the Association of Estonian Professional Musicians.
Iren Lill and Holger Faust-Peters have performed together in Estonia (Tallinn, Tartu) and Germany.
