On October 24 at 7 pm, baritone Dmitri Hvorostovsky and pianist Ivari Ilja will give a concert at the new Nokia Concert Hall. The duo will perform a program consisting of songs by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Sergei Rachmaninov and Nikolai Medtner. In August, Ilja and Hvorostovsky performed with the same program at the Ravinia Festival in the United States.

Dmitri Hvorostovsky is one of the world’s most highly valued opera singers. His polished voice, musicality and temperament make Hvorostovsky the greatest baritone of the modern age. Hvorostovsky and Ilja have performed together on different stages of the world for almost twenty years.
