Concert tour of guitar player Heiki Mätlik in Japan

From November 28 to December 6, guitarist and pedagogue Heiki Mätlik will give five concerts entitled New European Guitar Music from the 20th Century in Japan. The program consists of music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Eugène Ysaÿe, Max Reger, Arthur Honegger, and Estonian composers Arvo Pärt and Heino Eller. At the first concert of the tour, Mätlik will also perform guitar music by Raimond Valgre, Raimo Kangro, Frank Zappa, John Lennon and Paul McCartney.

Concerts will take place on November 28 at 3 pm in Yamanashi, November 29 at 3 pm and 9 pm in Asagaya, December 3 at 6 pm in Tokyo Toho Gakuen Collage of Drama and Music and December 6 at 2 pm in Osaka.

On December 4 at the Toho Gakuen Collage of Drama and Music, Mätlik will lead a master course and give a lecture Interpretation and Style of the Brouwer Estudios Sencillos.
