Last weekend Tõnu Kaljuste conducted Christmas concerts in Munich, Germany

On December 19 and 20, Estonian conductor Tõnu Kaljuste conducted in Munich Herkulessaal. The program consisted of Camille Saint-Saëns’s Christmas Oratorio, Arvo Pärt’s Christmas Lullaby and Estonian Lullaby, and Joseph Haydn’s Creation Mass, performed by Munich Radio Orchestra, Bavarian Radio Choir, Max Hanft (organ) and soloists (among others, there was Estonian mezzo-soprano Annely Peebo). The concert in December 20 was broadcasted live in many European radios, e. g. Estonian radio of classical music Klassikaraadio.
