Concerts of the Association of Estonian Professional Musicians in June, July and August


During the three summer months, the concert series Elite Concerts, organized by the Association of Estonian Professional Musicians, will continue with eight concerts.

On June 29 and July 5, pianist Kadri-Ann Sumera will give concerts at the Loone manor (Saaremaa) and at Kadriorg Palace (Tallinn). The program consists of Estonian piano music – Ballade on the Theme by Mart Saar (1945) by Eduard Tubin, Sonata No. 2 Op. 8 by Raimo Kangro, Pardon, Fryderyk (1981) and Pianissimo (1976) by Lepo Sumera, Evening at Urvaste (1987) by Jüri Reinvere, Lapland Joiks (1987) by Ester Mägi and Invitation to Dance (2001) by Kristjan Kõrver.

Harpsichord player Imbi Tarum will perform works by François Couperin and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach on July 5 at Pärnu Town Hall and July 7 at Kadriorg Palace.

Works of Ludwig van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johannes Brahms will be performed by violinist Arvo Leibur and pianist Lea Leiten on August 24 at Narva Castle and August 28 at Kadriorg Palace.

On August 25 and 28, Reet Sukk (recorders, flute), Taavi-Mats Utt (recorders, ranket), Taaniel Kirikal (voice, recorders) and Robert Staak (lute) will give concert entitled Flute’s Garden of Joy which will take place at Kadriorg Palace and Haapsalu Kuursaal.

All the concerts will start at 7 pm.
