Pärnu Creative Union was founded in Pärnu Artists’ House

On Saturday April 19th, Pärnu Creative Union was founded in Pärnu Artists’ House. The union will unite creative people, who work in fields of visual arts, applied arts, scenography, audiovisual art, stage art, literature, music and architecture. The idea of founding a creative union came from the composer Andrus Kallastu.

According to press release, the aim of Pärnu Creative Union is to support the cultural creativity of creative persons’ in town, also the preservation and development of fine arts in professional level. The union should deal with controlling the quality of its members’ creation, consulting its members and organizing in-service training, publishing, club activities, also representing the professional culture while shaping the cultural policy of Pärnu.

38 creative persons are currently related to Pärnu Creative Union, among them Andrus Kallastu, Mari Kartau, Teet Kask, Andrus Joonas, Taje Tross, Billeneeve, Kai Kallastu, Hans-Gunter Lock, Indrek Palu, Leonora Palu, Jasper Zoova, Mila Balti, Al Paldrok, Alar Raudoja and Kivisildnik.
