Lehari Kaustel and Triin Ruubel will make their debut with Tallinn Chamber Orchestra

On May 30 at 7 pm, young conductor Lehari Kaustel and violinist Triin Ruubel will make their debut with Tallinn Chamber Orchestra at St. John Church in Tallinn. The concert programme includes Simple Symphony by Benjamin Britten, Palladio by Karl Jenkins and the Spring Concert for violin and string orchestra.

Lehari Kaustel started his active conducting in 2001 when he won the young conductors competition in Georg Ots Tallinn Music School. This spring Lehari Kaustel will graduate the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre with Paul Mägi with a master degree in conducting and in autumn he will continue his studies at the Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in Moscow with Vladimir Ponkin. Lehari Kaustel conducts St. Michael Boys’ Choir, Collegium Consonante and Coro Consonante, also Haapsalu Youth Chamber Orchestra. He is also a founding member of Sodalitas Musicae Christianae; he is an artistic leader of Crescendo music society and has been an artistic leader of the festivals Tallinn Church Renaissance and With Soul Music to Christmas Time, he has also conducted musicals. For outstanding conducting Lehari Kaustel has gained several scholarships.

The violinist Triin Ruubel has astonished with her superb tone and mature emotionality since high school. She has graduated Tallinn Music High School and at present she studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Rostock. Since 2002, Triin Ruubel has achieved a number of relevant prizes at both national and international competitions.
