Agency Corelli Music’s concerts in next months

The opening concert of Corelli Music’s new concert series Music Salon in Maardu Manor will take place on June 20 at 6 pm. Baroque ensemble Corelli Consort and countertenor Risto Joost will perform cantatas, sonatas and harpsichord music of Arcangelo Corelli, Antonio Vivaldi and Johann Valentin Meder and solos for countertenor by Henry Purcell. Series will continue with concert of cello quartet C-JAM on July 9 and concert of Japanese harpsichord player Yoshiko Ieki on September 10. Concert series is realised in collaboration with Bank of Estonia.

In June and July, Corelli Music offers concerts in series Romantic Manors, already familiar to audience. Cello quartet C-JAM will perform on June 14 at 7 pm in Illuka manor and July 10 at 7 pm in Mooste manor. French harpsichord player Elisabeth Joyé will give a concert with music of Jacques Duphly (1715-1789) in Maidla manor on June 28.

Also the series Café Grand Music Salon, started in May, will continue. On June 15 at 5 pm, Corelli Consort staffed by Mail Sildos (baroque violin), Peeter Sarapuu (baroque bassoon), Villu Vihermäe (baroque cello) and Lembit Orgse (harpsichord) will give a concert in Hotel Victoria, Pärnu. Their programme entitled as Glamour of Solitude consists of works of Georg Friedrich Händel, Gaspard Corrette, François Couperin, Joseph Bodin de Boismortier and Jean-Philippe Rameau. Concert of C-JAM on July 13, offers popular pieces from Romanticism as well as contemporary pop and rock classic.
