Ruta Lipinaityte’s and Marje Lohuaru’s concert at Kadriorg Palace

The next concert in series Academic Chamber Music will take place on November 29 at 6 pm at Kadriorg Palace where violinist Ruta Lipinaityte and pianist Marje Lohuaru will perform sonatas by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Dmitri Shostakovich.

Ruta Lipinaityte has studied at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, Malmö Academy of Music and the Paris Conservatoire. Currently she is obtaining her PhD degree at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre with Alexander Fisher. Lipinaityte has received acknowledgements at many violin and chamber music competitions. She plays in chamber orchestra and sextette Kremerata Baltica which was founded by renowned violinist Gidon Kremer.
Marje Lohuaru is the Vice-Rector of Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. As a highly valued ensemble partner among singers and instrumentalists, Lohuaru has performed with many interprets such as Urve Tauts, Pille Lill, Riina Airenne, Ulrika Kristian, Urmas Vulp, Mare Teearu, Peeter Paemurru, Jelena Komarova and Marianne Boettcher. She has given concerts in Finland, Germany, Russia, Scandinavian countries and Canada.
