Meeting series "Who are you, composer?" to be continued

On February 27, Märt-Matis Lill, Estonian composer of younger generation whose musical idiom has been influenced by his studies of Oriental culture and philosophy, will meet the audience in the Hall of the Von Krahl Theatre. The meeting belongs to the series "Who are you, composer?" undertaken by the Estonian Composers' Union to introduce Estonian composers, their artistic credo and wider views.

At the meetings, taking place on Tuesdays, once a month, the composer and his or her friends will get the floor, the music of the guest will be presented and questions are expected. Last year Peeter Vähi, Age Hirv, Tõnu Kõrvits and Margo Kõlar were invited. This year René Eespere already has already been introduced. After Märt Matis Lill, composers Tatjana Kozlova (March 13) and Veljo Tormis (April 10) and musicologist Margus Pärtlas (May 29) will be the guests. Beside the members of creative unions any person with cultural interests is welcome to the evening "Who are you, composer?"
