Tatjana Kozlova successful at Darmstadt Summer Course

In August, the ensemble work „Circles” (2004) by Estonian composer Tatjana Kozlova was awarded the Kranichsteiner Musikpreis – the main award of the International Summer Course for New Music in Darmstadt.

This year about 200 composers and 100 interpreters took part in the course. The best work was selected by the international jury from 200 scores. Besides Tatjana Kozlova, German composer Robin Hoffmann and three interpreters were awarded the Kranichsteiner Musikpreis.

In addition to the premium in amount € 1.000, a commission of the new work and free participation in the following Summer Course, are granted to the winning composer by the Kranichsteiner Musikpreis.
