Tallinn Sinfonietta in Amsterdam Concertgebouw

Carefree Sunday with Mozart and Beethoven

. Program consists of

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23 in A Major, KV 488 with soloist Lisa Smirnova and Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 8 in F Major, Op. 93. Concert can be listened live on Dutch Radio 4.

Tallinn Sinfonietta, founded in 2008 by conductor Risto Joost consists of Estonian best young musicians. The special place in the repertoire belongs to Mozart, but works from Bach to Tüür and Corelli to Piazolla is being played as well. Their special programmes wish to show that classical music is still vivid and delightful also nowadays and gives the listener unforgettable experience. Tallinn Sinfonietta has participated at reputable Estonian festivals such as Glasperlenspiel and David Oistrakh Festival. The year 2011 brings them also to Emilia Romagna Festival, Festival d’Ile de France a.o.
