International Pianists Festival Piano 2014

From October 24 to November 1, International Pianists Festival Piano 2014 will be held in Tallinn. The program of the festival presents 14 concerts, featuring acknowledged pianists from Estonia, UK, Lithuania, France, Russia, Ukraine, Germany and USA. All concerts will take place at Estonia Concert Hall.

Festival features Lukas Geniushas (Lithuania) with Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Andris Boga (Latvia) at opening concert of the festival on October 24 at 7 pm, Benjamin Grosvenor (UK), Bertrand Chamavou (France), Daniel Kramer (Russia), Deniss Zhdanov (Ukraine), Jean-Efflam Bavouzet (France), Joseph Moog (Germany), piano duo Greg Anderson & Elizabeth Joy Roe (USA), Alexander Sandler’s piano students Alexander Bolotin, Ilja Domnins, Rustam Zejnalov (Russia), Lauri Väinmaa (with Jüri Aarma, texts), Age Juurikas, Lembit Orgse and Paul Lewis (UK) with Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Olari Elts at closing concert of the festival on Ocotber 1 at 7 pm. Also Estonian young pianists gala will take place.

International pianist’s festival Piano is a festival with largest number of listeners in Estonia, with top pianists from Estonia and around the world performing and which introduces the art of piano playing in its richness.

The artistic director of the festival is Lauri Väinmaa and it is organized by State Concert Institute Eesti Kontsert.
