Türi Spring Festival


From June 5 to 8, Türi Spring Festival which brings together classical music and nature will be held for the 8th time in Türi. Türi is well known as the Estonian Springtime Capital. This year the festival is focusing to the insects – the program presents thematic concerts, public lectures and guided nature walk.

The four concerts of the festival will feature harpsichordist Julia Ageyeva Hess, Chamber Choir Collegium Musicale (conductor Endrik Üksvärav), percussionist Heigo Rosin with Klaipeda Chamber Orchestra (artistic director cellist Mindaugas Bačkus) and ensemble Neue Hofkapelle Graz from Austria. Concerts will take place at Laupa Manor, Türi Church and Türi Culture House.

Türi Spring Festival also presents two public lectures by naturalist Veljo Runnel and japanologist Alari Allik, taking place at Laupa Manor and Türi Culture House. Traditional nature walk will be guided by Andro Truuverk.

The patron of the festival is biologist-zoologist and photographer Fred Jüssi, artistic director and producer Iren Lill.
