Imre Rohuväli
April 8, 1989Imre Rohuväli has graduated from Heino Eller Tartu Music School in choral conducting, studying there also composition under Alo Põldmäe. In 2016, he obtained Bachelor’s degree in composition from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (Prof. René Eespere) and continued Master’s studies in orchestra conducting in the class of Prof. Toomas Kapten.
As a composer, Imre Rohuväli has focused on chamber music – he has written works from piano pieces to quartets and quintets. Additionally, his worklist include music for sinfoniettas and choral music. His music is generally well-sounding and often tonal.
