Estonian National Opera soloists Heli Veskus (soprano) and Oliver Kuusik (tenor) with pianist Tarmo Eespere are performing in Canada and North-America to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Estonian Republic.
Concerts are on November 5 at 7 pm at Estonian House of Toronto, November 7 at 7pm at First Baptist Church in Ottawa, November 8 at 6 pm at Liberty Grand in Toronto, November 9 at 2 pm at Estonian House of Chicago, November 14 at 7.30 pm at Tolland Arts Center Connecticut and November 15 at Estonian House of Lakewood in New Jersey. In last two concerts Hanna-Liina Võsa fills in for Oliver Kuusik.
In the concert there will be performed works by Mart Saar, Eduard Tubin, Eevald Aav, Renè Eespere, but also Gaetano Donizetti, Charles Gounod, Giacomo Puccini, Franz Lehár, and Giuseppe Verdi.
