On January 14, Glasperlenspiel Sinfonietta under the baton of Andres Mustonen will give a concert at Felicja Blumental Music Center in Tel Aviv. The program consists of works by Estonian composers: Elegy by Villem Kapp, three pieces from Five Pieces for String Orchestra by Heino Eller, Nostalgia by Veljo Tormis, Trisagion by Arvo Pärt, I movement of Concert for Chamber Orchestra, Op. 16 by Jaan Rääts, Molitva (The Prayer) by Galina Grigorjeva (soloist Aare Tammesalu – cello), Musica profana by Lepo Sumera, In memoriam H.M. by Peeter Vähi (soloists Andres Mustonen – violin and Yoram Lachish – oboe) and Action.Passion.Illusion. by Erkki-Sven Tüür.
In February, Glasperlenspiel Sinfonietta will perform in Iran, performing music by Veljo Tormis, Arvo Pärt, Peeter Vähi, Erkki-Sven Tüür and Bijan Mortazav.
