This and next week, museum celebrates its birthday with several events: concerts, performances, theme evening, conference and family day. The grand event of the jubilee week is the play „Technician Viiding“ created by Heidi Sarapuu specially for museum’s birthday. Theatre Varius performance takes us back to 1960ies when the young poet and actor Juhan Viiding was a photo technician in the museum. Music friends are awaited to come to the presentation of Sten Lassmann’s CD-s „Heino Eller. Complete Piano Music“ Vol. 4 and 5.
March 19 – Music Day. Presentation concert of Sten Lassmann’s CD-s „Heino Eller. Complete Piano Music“ Vol. 4 and 5 at 4 pm. Free entrance.
March 20 – Musicology Day. Jubilee conference „Museum – creator or mediator?“ at 10 am. Free entrance.
March 21 – Theatre Day. Jubilee play Technician Viiding at 6 pm. Alo Kõrve as Juhan Viiding, stage director Heidi Sarapuu. Performaces will take place also on March 23, 24 and 25 at 6 pm (sold out!). Additional performances: May 20 and 21 at 6 pm and May 27 at 4 pm and 7 pm. Tickets 10€/8€ from museum.
March 23 – Free Day. Museum is open from 10 am – 5 pm free of charge. Theme excursions and workshops for all family. Mechanical music show „A Little Sound“ at 1 pm.
March 26 – at 3 pm, theme evening with dramaturgs and Litarature Department directors.
