Record company ECM has released Erkki-Sven Tüür’s new author’s CD „Erkki-Sven Tüür. Symphony No.7. Piano Concerto“. CD consists of Symphony No. 7 Pietas (2009) dedicated to Dalai Lama and Piano Concerto (2006). Music is performed by Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Paavo Järvi, NDR Choir and Finnish pianist Laura Mikkola. More about the works here. Both works were commissioned by Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra (hr-Sinfonieorchester) and were premiered in Frankfurt Alte Oper. This is the sixth author’s CD of Erkki-Sven Tüür.Look also: ECM
