Early music festival Tallinn feat. Reval

From November 23 to December 1, the second edition of the early music festival Tallinn feat. Reval will feature musicians both from Estonia and abroad. Eleven festival concerts will take place in Tallinn, Narva, Viljandi, Otepää, and Viinistu. The festival also features Daniel Brüggen’s documentaries and a roundtable discussion on theory and practice in early music.

The festival opens with cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach and Georg Philipp Telemann performed by the joint baroque orchestra and soloists under Heiko ter Schegget (Netherlands). Various programmes will be presented by international guests, including ensemble Zefiro (Italy), ensemble Aventure (Netherlands), lute players Anna Kowalska and Anton Birula (Poland) alongside leading Estonian early music performers.

The festival is organised by early music studio Cantores Vagantes.
