Concerts of the Association of Estonian Professional Musicians in February

In February, the 10th season of the Association of Estonian Professional Musicians will continue with concerts of pianist Age Juurikas, duo Andreas Lend – Maarit Saarmäe and ensemble Una Corda. These six concerts will take place in Jõhvi, Narva, Saue and Tallinn.

Pianist Age Juurikas will perform solo pieces by Isaac Albéniz and César Franck on February 12 at the chamber hall of Jõhvi Concert House and February 14 at Estonia Concert Hall.
Cellist Andreas Lend and pianist Maarit Saarmäe, who have played together for several years, will give two concert with program consisting of music by Igor Stravinsky, César Franck and Claude Debussy. Duo’s concerts will take place on February 14 at Narva Castle and February 16 at the House of the Brotherhood of the Blackheads in Tallinn.

A program of Estonian music written by Peeter Süda, Heino Eller, Ester Mägi, Margo Kõlar, Rein Rannap, Mirjam Tally, Cyrillus Kreek and René Eespere will be performed by an ensemble with a unique composition – Una Corda – which brings together three multi-string instruments: the harp (played by Liis Viira), kannel (Kristi Mühling) and harpsichord (Ene Nael). The concerts will take place on February 21 at Saue Music School and February 23 at the House of the Brotherhood of the Blackheads.
