During this concert, the Estonian National Male Choir is introducing their long-awaited new album which was recorded in the Estonia Concert Hall almost a decade ago. The programme consists of beautiful and diverse music of the Italian composers Giovanni Bonato (1961) and Giovanni Gabrieli (about 1554 or 1557-1612). “O lilium convallium” and “Signum magnum” by Bonato include the cello, one of the composer’s favourite instruments.
The works of Giovanni Gabrieli were arranged for male choir by Aare Kruusimäe.
