For centuries, writing manually was the only way to track music. Those days composers are increasingly leaning towards computer programs regarding graphic notation. Therefore, manually written music has obtained a distinctive aura. In a series of evenings dedicated to manuscripts, we try to figure out how changing conditions affect composing. What happens to music once it gets printed and what message does a composer’s handwriting convey? We will take a look at the scores of Tatjana Kozlova-Johannes.
