Autumn Festival of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre

The traditional new music feast in Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre from September 27 to 29 offers works by composition students, concert John Cage 100 and many more. Festival guest is cellist, improviser and pedagogue Tapani Heikinheimo and his trio from Finland.

6 pm FINAL CONCERT of EAMT Autumn Festival in Kanuti Guild Hall (Pikk 20): JOHN CAGE 100. EAMT new music ensemble and Ensemble U:. Artistic director Taavi Kerikmäe.
Program features John Cage’s most popular pieces and the first performance of Märt-Matis Lill’s Imaginary Soundscapes. 24 Prelueds to Silence for 11 instruments dedicated to John Cage.
