Recently a solo CD with music by Andres Uibo, a noted Estonian organist and music promoter, was released by Eres. The CD „Apocalypsis Symphony” presents Uibo’s work from years 1993–2005. Beside the organ symphony „Apocalypsis Symphony”, a title work in four sections, the CD presents „Bach im Spiegel” for organ and cello, „Licht und Schatten” for two organs and „Drei Choralmeditationen” by Andres Uibo. The CD has been recorded in Riga Dome Church as a collaboration of the author with organist Aivars Kalējs (Latvia) and cellist Aare Tammesalu (Estonia).
Andres Uibo, organist and Professor of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, who recently celebrated his 50th jubilee, is also a founder and organiser of the oldest music festival in Estonia – Tallinn International Organ Festival, established in 1987.
