On August 23, Estonian Music Information Centre concluded a cooperation contract with NGO Estonian Music Export which, together with Estonian Authors’ Society, manages Netiraadio - an internet radio which exclusively is focused on broadcasting of Estonian music. The mutual aim of the cooperation is the more intensive and complex promotion of Estonian classical and contemporary music in homeland and all over the world.
According to the agreement, the webpage of Estonian Music Information Centre will be linked with the incoming site of classical and contemporary music of the Netiraadio – an application which will combine detailed information of the EMIC with high quality performances. Currently, EMIC supports Netiraadio in compiling of the preliminary selection of Estonian classical and contemporary music by permitting access and use of its sound archive.
